Nightclubs in Mauritius are located in the Grand Baie region (again!!), on the West coast and in the centre of the island. Clubbing starts late in Mauritius at 11pm, with a French influence where young tend to go out late for dinner, after their apéritif.
Music played varies from techno, 1980's, commercial music, ragga and sega. A few also feature 'slows' for a short time prior to closing, i.e. at dawn around 5am.
Entrance fees vary from Rs. 50 to Rs. 400 per person.
